Oh okay.

They don't cut deep enough to cause sufficient blood loss to die. As for why? Think of the money they get, if you are willing to get cut and show real injuries you can become more popular or infamous with the crowd, boosting your profile, which will then boost your pay-check.

If you watch the sequence where Abyss gets dragged under the ring, then re-emerges covered in blood, the close ups show the cuts are real. Broken noses and busted bones are common in wrestling, but cuts and so on are even more common. It doesn't take much to bust a capillary or blood vessel, and if you look most cuts are surface only, so they bleed but aren't that deep. But remember, Mick Foley lost an ear getting caught up in the ropes by accident, so there are many risks.

You cut yourself in a way like on some part so you dont get hurt. Former wrestlers will tell you its real blood but they do it themselves like when there down and the ref goes over to them i think thats when he gives them the blade or whatever. And was I right or was I right about getting a thumbs down.
RocManKing (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Guess you have a point. But why would you cut yourself? You could kill yourself if you draw enough blood.
Madmonkeymusician (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
It wasn't, you don't get a trickle of blood from the inside of the nose if it's fake. And due to the camera angle, you can see it.
Madmonkeymusician (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
One of the few, very few, exceptions. My bad. Do you get my point though? The TNA young guns are better than those in WWE, taken as a whole group.
wwetnasux (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Those docs are fake themselves, Those wrestlers were paid to say that shit
wwetnasux (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Sydal (Evan Bourne) is an exception
RoderickStrong (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
So Matt Sydal is not worth watching?
