Hello Oregon fans! This version of 'The Silence of a Candle' is from the album 'Oregon In Concert'. That great album of theirs is only available in a Japanese edition.

Yes, Oregon is always the best "world music" group ever ! East and west, traditional and modern, classic and jazz elements melt in a simply "beautiful music" together. Intelectually and emotionally deep meaning and the use of "silence" in their music give us a meditative feels.

this is profound music

This is originally on Ralph's 'Diary' solo album, '74, I think, well worth seeking out.

Fantastic composition. A tribute to the East?
