Final Fantasy 8 was just absolute brilliance especially Triple Triad breath taking card game made this series the best.

hahahaha, the things that people argue about in comments sections are hilarious!
hippysasquatch (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
hahaha, how did this become a final fantasy fight? and by the way, the best was 6 or 3 whichever you want to call it

to edenfire:
There was no BEFORE. The game sold millions of copies upon it's release. The real question is did you play the final fantasy games that appeared on the snes before FF7 came out and turned the series into a cultural phenomenon. If you did, good for you.

Go stick your hand in a garbage disposal you obnoxious prick.

I think FF7 is the best of the series by far. And I played it BEFORE it was the cool FF game to play. You're assuming a very generalized stance and trying to make it fit into a very flawed argument.

@leroyinc
I agree. I watch more of it after Andy left. Joel Gotter was a better announcer too and made the show feel alive from the opening scene.

No I shouldn't. I know lots of people do. That's the very point I was making. People who think FF7 is the best in the series are obviously only conforming to the popular consensus, which means that they are incapable of formulating an opinion on their own. Granted it is theoretically possible for someone to make an informed decision that FF7 truly is their favorite without any outside influence, but I submit that the former is far more likely.

And lots of people do. That isn't "retarded", it's an opinion. Heaven forbid someone has one that differs from you, right? You should try a new example.

Andy is ratings poison. Nice guy but just not good for TV

Way back during their stint in New York.
One of the funniest Conan - Andy skits was when Conan had Larry King on, and Larry was taking pot shots at Andy then Andy got up and kicked Larry Kings head off... a manequin that looked like king. OMG I wished Andy could have done that for real. Can't wait to see you guys in Sept.. |
